Buttercup
Buttercup: Prim's cat. When he first came to live in the Everdeen household, Katniss was not keen on having another mouth to feed. Especially a flea ridden muddy yellow one. She tried to drown him in a bucket when Prim first came home, but Prim's pleading stopped her. Their mother got rid of the fleas and Buttercup was there to stay.
